“When you realize no one else on this earth can be like you... that no other soul may know the beauty, sorrow, light and darkness you alone are given to see... then you will, at last, be the fearless individual your Heart of hearts has called you to be.” — Guy Finley
You are a miracle.
According to self-help author and speaker Mel Robbins, the chance of your existence is pegged at 1 in 400 trillion by scientists. According to Dr. Ali Binazir, if the universe were composed of 10 atoms, the probability of you being born would be 1 in 10.
So yep, you’re a miracle! Don’t believe me?
Run through the chances of your parents meeting and reproducing. Then think about just one of many loving encounters releasing roughly 100 million sperm at the right time of the month toward 1 out of roughly 300,000 viable eggs. Then go back through your unbroken lineage and look at each of those probabilities as well!
So how does being a miracle make you feel? But wait, there’s more!
There has never been another person like you. There is currently no other person like you. There will never be another person like you.
Not only are you a miracle, you are unique!
At this point, you must be reeling from the sheer enormity of what you have learned (or have been reminded of). But I’m not quite done with the revelations.
Since you are a miracle AND unique, the experiences you have through the lens of your perspective will never be known in such vivid detail by any other living being. Your experiences are therefore both unique and priceless!
Seriously! This is what it must be like for superheroes when they discover their super powers.
It is time you start behaving like the miracle you are. There will be difficult days, but never forget how special and incredibly rare you are. Whether by accident or by grand intention, what an amazing universe this must be to have produced you.
Go forth and share the gift of your experiences, perspective and insight with the world. Do it boldly, honestly and without fear. For when you leave this life, you leave behind only what is shared. The rest is lost to humanity forever!
