Consistency is key when establishing effective habits. I've shared over 60 essays now, and I have no plans to stop.

Writing has become the key to everything I do.
A few months ago, I struggled to establish a consistent writing habit. As in every creative endeavor, consistency is the secret to success. The benefits are manifold:
Feedback from the community by publishing often
Continuous improvement by putting in the reps
An effective habit deepened each day
Understanding and working out ideas
Finding your value and niche
I finally took my own advice as a coach. Work in small increments. If there is resistance, make the increments smaller. For me, the sweet spot turned out to be about 300 words per day.
I am forever grateful to Ship 30 for 30 and all of the wonderful people who now make up that community. Your kindness and support has rekindled a love of writing. The essays I create are my pillar content. I now have over 60 of them and counting.
In the words of C.S. Lewis, “You can make anything by writing.” Once you build momentum with consistency, writing becomes the engine of your creativity. You no longer write just to understand. You write to create. You become a world builder.
